Inspired to set higher standards
When Michael R. Perry, Jr. was faced with his own battle against cancer, rather then accept financial assistance from his friends, he challenged them to reach beyond and raise the bar along with him. Despite his illness, Michael sought ways to help others with financial concerns caused by health related issues throughout Fairfield County. Though he lost his battle with cancer in 1999, his courage and generous spirit lives on through the organization which was founded by his friends in his honor, Raise the Bar. This foundation depends on the generosity of others to assist us in fulfilling his mission.
All financial grants are required to be referred by medical or social service professionals within the Southwestern Connecticut area.
